At SocioScript, we believe that stories aren’t just narratives—they’re tools for transformation. Co-founded by two changemakers at the intersection of journalism, mental health, and human agency, our work turns complex realities into campaigns that move minds, shift systems, and spark long-term impact.
The Visionaries Behind SocioScript
Payal Saxena
A journalist by training and a changemaker by instinct, Payal Saxena has spent over 20 years telling stories that don’t just inform—they intervene.
As a former Senior Correspondent with The Times of India and The Week, her investigative pieces have reopened expressways, reinstated intelligence officers, and brought grassroots issues to national attention. But Payal didn’t stop at headlines—she transformed storytelling into a tool for social innovation.
Armed with a Master’s in Conflict, Security & Development from King’s College London, she stepped into the world of development communications—leading campaigns across war zones, rural heartlands, and global institutions. Her work has addressed fake news, menstrual stigma, refugee rights, and maternal health—always with clarity, empathy, and urgency.
From leading IEC for a program that built six million toilets to shaping messaging for Afghan women under Taliban rule, Payal’s voice is one of fierce purpose and undeniable impact.
At SocioScript, she brings it all together—crafting communication that empowers communities, protects culture, and strengthens mental and physical health systems.
